Flock Together is a collection of aerosol paintings Hicks created as a continuation of 'Tunnel Vision', the massive world-record setting mural painted in East Harlem from fall of 2020 through the summer of 2021, highlighting the indigenous birds that are native to New York State. The new collection of paintings on canvas will be fittingly on display at The Museum at Bethel Woods, as Hicks’ subject matter inhabits and beautifies the Western Catskills mountains surrounding Bethel Woods.

"Growing up on a farm in southern Maryland I began to realize how much I had disconnected from nature. I began taking hikes upstate as much as I could. The birds that I had been painting on grey walls of the city were now fluttering and dancing throughout the landscape in front of me. For my most recent body of work 'Flock Together', I used these birds as the source of inspiration. The work is a celebration of the world that exists above our heads."
